80 Perkins Rd


Word on the street is that this property sold to a professional baseball player fresh from signing a $180mln contract. Nice house by a good builder. Sale price was $6.70mln or +/-16% off the list of $7.95mln. The property sold yesterday, but went to contract in Jan '09 about 2 1/2 months after being listed for sale--that's darn good! For background, the developer purchased the property in Nov '07 for $2.695mln.

  1. Am I missing something? Isn't 80 Perkins 3850 sqft on 2.5 acres?

    Price seems way out of line with home stats and 07 sale.

  2. The land remains the same but the house changed. The house was 3,850sqft Colonial on Nov 2007 when property sold for $2.695ml. Then a builder did the tear-down two-step and built the new structure.

  3. Did this pork chop loose his mind, didn't his Portuguese family show him the way to invest? This is definitely not the way to invest when your paying 41,000 on property taxes.
